سايت مشهور ويكي ليكس، اسناد محرمانه ديگري را در باره ارمنستان افشا كرده است. اين اسناد كه توسط سفارت ايالات متحده آمريكا در جمهوري آزربايجان تهيه شده اند، حاوي تحليلي مفصل از روابط ارمنستان و ايران مي باشند.

 آنگونه كه سفير سابق ايالات متحده آمريكا در آزربايجان، آن دئرسه (Anne Derse) در مقدمه اين گزارشات مي گويد، اعضاي سفارت درگير با مسائل ايران، در اكتبر ٢٠٠٧ به ايروان رسيده و با نمايندگان دائره هاي سياسي، تجار و شخصيتهاي برجسته فرهنگي ارمني ملاقات كردند.

گزارش ذكر مي كند كه در طول ملاقاتها كارشناسان ارمني اعتقاد خود، مبني بر آن كه ايران از بسياري از جهات و عميقا خواهان ادامه وضعيت فعلي موجود در منطقه (مناقشه قاراباغ عليا) مي باشد را بيان كردند.

داويد شاه نظريان مشاور امنيتي سابق ارمنستان در ملاقات با ديپلمات آمريكائي، در باره روابط دو طرفه ارمنستان-ايران نيز صحبت كرد.

به گفته داود شاه نظريان "روابط بين ايران و ارمنستان، محدود به علائق بازرگاني صرف نيست. در ارتباط با مسائل سياسي و عرصه امنيتي نيز در سطوح عالي همكاريهاي متقابل وجود دارند".

وي بويژه تاكيد كرد كه ايران خواهان حل مساله قاراباغ و پيشرفت در متدهاي حل اين مساله نيست. زيرا وضعيت موجود، دولت آزربايجان را از متمركز شدن بر مسائل تركان ساكن در شمال ايران [آزربايجان جنوبي] باز مي دارد و به مقامات رسمي ايران اين امكان را مي دهد كه توجه دولت آزربايجان به اين امر را منحرف كنند.

WikiLeaks has declassified another secret document concerning Armenia.

This document contains a detailed analysis of the Armenian-Iranian relations, prepared by the United States Embassy in Azerbaijan.

As former U.S. ambassador to Azerbaijan Anne Derse said in a preface to the reports her subordinate, dealing with the problems of Iran, arrived in Yerevan in October 2007 and met with representatives of political circles, businessmen and cultural figures.

In addition, Armenian specialists expressed their belief that Iran is deeply interested in maintaining the status quo in the region, particularly in maintaining the current situation of Nagorno-Karabakh problem,” reads the report.

Former National Security Minister David Shahnazaryan in an interview with American diplomat also spoke about bilateral Armenian-Iranian relations.

"Relations between Iran and Armenia are not limited to trade links. There is a high-level cooperation in connection with political issues and security cooperation," said Shahnazaryan,

stressing that Iran does not wish to progress towards resolution of the Karabakh problem, since status quo diverts the attention of Azerbaijan from Azerbaijanis living in northern Iran.

The popular site Of wikiLeaks it declassified some information of the embassy of the USA in Azerbaijan.

As reports AZE.az, the site Of wikiLeaks published the secret document, which is concerned Armenia and [Irana].

[Dokument] it was prepared by the embassy of the USA in Azerbaijan.

In the document the ex- ambassador of Anne’s USA in Azerbaijan [Dersi] it writes that the colleague of embassy, who carries out the problems of Iran, arrived to Yerevan in October 2007 and it met with the political circles, the owners and the people prominent in cultural matters.

Furthermore, Armenian specialists in the course of encounters expressed conviction that Iran is in many respects interested in the retention of the status quo in a highland- Karabakh question , it is noted in the document.

 [Shakhnazaryan] in the conversation to American diplomats spoke also about the double-sided [armyano]- Iranian relations.

The relations between Iran and Armenia are not limited only to commercial connections. There is a collaboration at the high level in connection with the political issues and in the sphere of safety , noted [Shakhnazaryan],

having especially emphasized that Iran does not desire progress on the method of solution of Karabakh problem, since this makes possible for official Teheran to distract attention to Baku from the problems of Azerbaijanians in Iran (in South Azerbaijan - editor's notes).
